Sweater (Dress) Weather

Another day, another outfit that I planned a few days before and was excited to finally wear out. My favorite part of this look is this belt for sure. I love having one piece that stands out in a what would be simple fit. I took off my jacket just to get these shots and all I was thinking while taking these— I can’t wait to put my jacket back on. But what we do for the gram right?! I really can’t wait for Paris to get warmer but its slight gloom is part of its charm, the fact that with the clouds the city still shines is so astonishing.

This sweater dress I just recently got from Express and I wasn’t 100% sure about it but there was a sale so I was like why not? The style is actually straight and kind of loose so I knew I would have to pair it with a belt to accentuate the look. That same day I saw this belt at Express and knew it would become a favorite piece of mine, especially on this dress. It buttons easily in the back and it stretches to fit multiple different sizes. The belt made me love this look. I was also pretty comfortable throughout the day and these booties from Marshalls are great to walk in.

Also, important side note about Parisian fashion— slim turtlenecks are a MUST. Which is another reason I thought this look was perfect for shopping around Paris. Everywhere I turn I see a different version of Steve Jobs but even sleeker. Obviously I am now stocking up on turtlenecks, so if you need one hit me up as I have a shopping addiction. The sales right now in Paris are amazing (Paris sale seasons are January/February and then July so I’m stocking up). I am definitely guilty of having gone to the mall like every two days oops.

Anyways, I took this pictures in the Jardin Nelson Mandela Area (which is like a park/garden) in the 2nd Arrondissement of Paris. It is right by one of favorite malls, the Forum Des Halles. Really beautiful area to just walk around in and also has great insta spots! And then as you can see, one of these pictures was also in front of The Louvre. I haven’t actually had a chance to go inside yet, this was purely a photo moment, but I’ll definitely share when I do explore soon. Like I said in my last post, exploring Paris is like being in another world.

Close up for the fans

I always say I’m just going to do a quick fit breakdown but then I end up having more to say so thank you for reading all this. All the support I’ve gotten reminds me how lucky I am. In case you forgot, coming up is a weekend trip to Amsterdam and another to Brussels, A Louvre breakdown, Eiffel Tower, Disneyland Paris and more!! Stay tuned and as always, much love to you all.
