Hard to believe that exactly a week ago I left New York to come to Paris and I have to say it’s been an unbelievable week. Not even in the sense that I have had seven super epic days but they were definitely unforgettable. It is still so hard to believe that I actually LIVE here. Just adjusting to a new city and beginning to love a new city is such an enriching experience. I mean these first few days after landing were about the little victories which added up to a great feeling. Day one, even though I literally knew no one in the city I wanted to be out all day and just exploreā I mean when would I have this chance again? Little wins for the week included getting my European sim card, going to Monoprix (a literal Parisian Target) and buying toiletries, figuring out how the metro works, using Uber and finding my way to school. Sounds like small things but I felt good about myself and I’m happy so yay!

At this point my camera roll is already filled with so many pictures because Paris is just insanely beautiful. Even the most unimportant buildings are so magnificent. Like this one to the right, I mean literally I was walking on a super quiet street and bamā stunning architecture. It’s just so amazing to be doing nothing super special but to always see such beauty.
Even though it’s only been a week, I feel like I’ve learned so much about this mesmerizing city. People here are just so much more chill. It doesn’t feel like everyone is running somewhere and walking on the sidewalk I don’t feel like i’ll get run-over if I slow down. The Parisians really know how to enjoy a day. I mean, time really feels like it’s slowed down but in an amazing way. Interesting though, after 10pm Paris becomes pretty quiet because of mandatory quiet hours in apartments and such. Definitely not used to that but the Parisians don’t like any noise pollution. I’m really starting to take in my surroundings more and enjoy moments when I’m by myself, too. That’s honestly why I’ve taken so many photos, like the ones below, because I have a chance to live in the moment for more than just a moment.

Accidentally stumbled upon this building…
Loved the lighting of this restaurant
Gare De Lyonā wow
Paris doesn’t even have to try to be beautiful

Another thing about Paris is that the dessert and pastries are to die for. I’m normally not a sweet tooth but the sweets are so light and creamy but not too heavyā absolute perfection. Like these crepes below. Also this bakery, to the left, is right across the street from me so god bless. This also means I will have croissants everyday. If I could bottle up the smell of the bakeriesā a mix of amazingly baked bread, sweet chocolate and pure fruitsā I really would and I’d cherish it forever.

These photos don’t even do Paris justice. The streets are busy but not so busy that it feels claustrophobic, even the most simple areas are lit so beautifully, the metro is absolutely amazing, the shops are so cute and pictures can’t do it all justice but I’ll sure as hell try to. Also side note about the metro, its high tech and super fast/convenient but also has a hint of vintage plus way cleaner than NYC. I’ve gotten the chance to spend hours walking around the city and I’m loving it. Paris is the perfect mix of a happening city that’s history shines through but also is modern. Honestly, so hard to put the culture shook into words. Breakfast in cafes are such a norm, long lunches are a must and if you aren’t runway ready then go back, just go back home. Getting the chance to stunt everyday is so amazing and I just feel less stressed here. Definitely have an outfit post coming soon and I thank Paris for the inspiration. I definitely could get used to this. I mean I haven’t even had a chance to enjoy everything in Paris or do anything super touristy but even without it, I love every minute. I’ll stop now otherwise this thing will be like 10000 words. Here’s one last picture for the fans. Much love to you all.
